Company information

proceedit is a start-up project which has just been launched to the market. For the last almost ten years, we have been developing and fully testing a unique disruptive technology in the area of Business Process Automation Solutions (based on BPM-RPA-AI technologies) and servicing them on a Business Process as a Service and Business Process Outsourcing (BPaaS - BPO) model through the Cloud.

In a few months’ time, we will be successfully competing with huge companies like ACCENTURE, CAPGEMINI, COGNIZANT, FUJITSU, IBM, ORACLE, PEGA, TATA, TECH MAHINDRA, UIPATH, XEROX, etc. thanks to our dynamic no-code AI engines that will permits us to develop complex business automation solutions 5 times faster and reduce 10 times their future service, support and maintenance load once in operation, compared with using the best current technology.

Business automation market information

Roughly speaking, there are around 100 K different business process automation solution classes identified worldwide (5 to 10 K for each main business sector or industry) with approximately 21 million organizations worldwide (private and governmental with 50+ employees) being potential customers for these products, and affecting around 2.4 Billion employees. These figures mean that this market has no future growing limits (market estimations expect a growing factor higher than 20 % per year).

Based on the above factors, a huge growing market combined with the availability of our new disruptive technology, we think working on this IT business sector represents a big challenge and a very exciting career opportunity for undergraduate, graduate and young professionals, not only with technical skills but also willing to work on business administration, marketing, sales, operations ... areas.

PATHS & CONDITIONS

We can propose the realization of four different types of Paths:

1. Erasmus-ship.

2. Internship.

3. Thesis-ship.

4. Traineeship.

In the following sections we detail the conditions that are applicable to the realization of each Path.

Erasmus-ship:

• Duration: minimum 6 months but unlimited.

• Dedication: minimum 450 hours but unlimited.

• Weekly effort: minimum 18 hours per week, every month, no exceptions.

• Monthly effort: minimum 75 hours per month, every month, no exceptions.  

• Prerequisites:

2. Be preselected. You must have obtained a score equal or higher than  the average in the application questionnaire.

3. Contract, follow and complete with success the 30 hours preparatory course "Business automation essentials by proceedit". 

• Preparatory course:

  • Contract: by purchasing it at proceedit’s Podia store: https://proceeditacademy.podia.com/

  • Duration: maximum 7 consecutive days. No exceptions.

  • Tests results: minimum 100% score to be obtained. Applicants must repeat the tests till obtaining the 100 % score.

  • Fees: 360 €.

  • Scholarship: 100% discount coupon.  No charges for Erasmus applicants.

• Erasmus-ship:

  • Contract: by purchasing it at proceedit’s Podia store: https://proceeditacademy.podia.com/

  • Fees: Subscription of 900 € per month.

  • Scholarship: 1000% discount coupon after successfully completing the preparatory course. No charges for Erasmus applicants.

  • Duration: minimum 6 months but unlimited.

  • Dedication: minimum 450 hours but unlimited.

  • Weekly effort: minimum 18 hours per week, every month, no exceptions.

  • Commitment: Full-Time or Part-Time.

Internship:

• Internship:

Thesis-ship:

1. Having completed an Erasmus-ship or Internship program.

4. Contract, follow and complete with success the 30 hours preparatory course "Business automation essentials by proceedit". 

• Preparatory course:

  • Duration: maximum 14 consecutive days. Can be extended by a duly justified reason.

• Thesis-ship:

  • Dedication: minimum 900 hours but unlimited.

  • Weekly effort: minimum 36 hours per week, every month.

  • Monthly effort: minimum 150 hours per month, every month. 

  • Commitment: Full-Time.

Traineeship:

• Fees: Subscription of 600 € per month during 3 months per each module course.

• Duration: maximum 3 months per module.

• Dedication: orientative 150 hours per module.

• Monthly effort: orientative 50 hours per month, minimum. 

• Commitment: Full-Time or Part-Time.  

Common to all the Paths:

• Modality: Remote via Internet, presently in our office in Barcelona- Spain or mixed part remotely or part presently.

• Unlimited (minimum 10 % of the hours), continuous, one-to-one and groupal coaching via Jira Tasks Comments, Chat and Hangout Meets.   

• Granted a proceedit freelance position after having completed in total 1.800 hours dedication by adding Erasmus-ship, Internship, Thesis-ship and / or Traineeships programs.

Important notes to take in account: 

• Our Erasmus-ship programs have a minimum duration of 6 months. Therefore, if your Erasmus internship grant is less than 6 months, you will have to begin the proceedit Erasmus-ship iin advance by working remotely.

• Our Career Plan Paths can be followed fully remotely that being so important in our present COVID-19 situation. We strongly suggest you take advantage of this unique feature to not stop your studies and practices.

PROGRAMS

When you participate in one of our BPM-RPA-AI ICareer Plan Paths options you can choose to participate in one or more projects belonging to one of the following learning-by-doing programs and that according according to your professional interests and our needs as a company:

Programs value proposal

Our BPM-RPA-AI programs are specially oriented to provide our interns, thesis doers and trainees with a very practical knowledge and experience by:

• Learning and practicing the principles on how to use our methodology and technology by participating in many apps, robots and processes development projects.

• Using a "learning-by-doing" with a smart combination of proven theory lessons, practices, tests, workshops, projects, demos, presentations and exams activities.

• Participating in the analysis, design, development, configuration, implementation, operation and maintenance of real applications that go immediately on production.

• Participating in continuous rotary roleplays where interns and thesis doers can adopt different company roles and perform real company tasks related to each role. 

• Dedicating a minimum of 60 % of the internship and 40 % of the thesiship effort time to these roleplay performances.

• Applying strict rules on effort, performance, ethics and reporting control.

• Ensuring full transparency of progress made by the interns and thesis doers  through the use of an advanced task manager application Jira. 

Tasks

Depending on your skills you will participate in different apps development steps: collect information, define requirements, analysis, design, development, configuration, integration, compilation, testing, debugging, documentation, deploying, user training, startup, user support, maintenance, promotion, selling once the app goes into production and even you will be able to create complementary applications, like databases, functions, services, robots and connectors, if you have already or you are willing to develop the required computer programming skills.

Modalities

Our internship - thesiship programs can be done part-time or full-time and no physical presence is strictly required although it is convenient when possible. However, frequent contact via Google Chat and Hangout will be essential to help you boost your progress.

Coaching

During the internship - thesiship  programs you can count on the continuous assistance of our staff and receive documentation and other training, test and working material, free access to our support applications (Google Suite, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Postgresql, Bonita, dyPAS, Pentaho, Talend, Wordpress, Divi, Elementor ...) and attendance to presentially workshops, webinars, etc.

In case you are coursing a master, university or school degree, the work done during the internship programs can be used as your degree project and the hours worked could count as course credits this, of course, depending on the policies applied by your academic institution. In that case, we are willing to sign the corresponding internship agreement with you and your academic institution.

You can also combine the realization of your thesis with the work done in our thesiship programs provided that your thesis tutor will accept it and we can find a topic aligned with the objectives of the three parts: you, your thesis tutor and ourselves. In this case, a 6 months full-time 900 hours dedication will be required with a minimum of 150 hours per month.

We are working on frontend, backend, databases, integration, robotics, AI and analytical aspects to develop and support our applications by using a wide variety of programming languages / technologies like C#, ASP, js, jquery, java, React, Node, REST, json, webhooks, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL, HTML5, CSS, Material design, PHP, Dart, Flutter, Vue, GraphQL, Python, TensorFlow ... and deploying, servicing, supporting and maintaining our applications in our Amazon AWS EC2 and S3 cloud environments, using and integrating with applications and platforms like Google Suite, Divi, Woocommerce, Wordpress, Cognito, Google analytics, Google Ads, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Talend, Pentaho, Bonita, dyPAS, Animaker, Canva ...

Our internship programs can introduce you on different areas of knowledge and also help you to decide  which area could be a convenient field of knowledge and experience for your future career development, 

Participating in one of ours 450 hours internship and 900 hours thesiship programs is the first required step to be admitted in our BPM-RPA-AI Career Plan which will open you the door to develop a future professional career in our company as a programmer, designer, developer, analyst, service agent, consultant, team leader, project manager, business promoter, etc. and it will cost you nothing, but your time and effort.

PREREQUISITES

To participate in one of our internships - thesiship programs you must fulfill the following prerequisites:

Studies level:

Coursing last course or having coursed a Bachelor degree.

Coursing or having coursed a Master degree.

Specialties coursed:

• Technical (Information & Computing sciences, Telecommunications, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics …).

• Business (Business Administration, Marketing, Law, Six Sigma, Lean Management …).

• Social (Public Relations, Art & Design, Communication, Linguistics, Philosophy …).

Languages: 

All the written communications and support materials and contents of the programs are in English. 

Interns must have a Proficiency C1 English level recommended, B2 minimum required.

Other requisites:

• Erasmus plus mobility, Campus Mundi or similar program recommended although not mandatory.

• Some knowledge on programming languages is recommended, although it is not mandatory, except for the internship - thesiship in our lab unit.

• We are not necessarily requiring previous working experience although some user experience with enterprise automation applications is recommended.

• Previous programming and/or other technical skills are not strictly required to participate in our internship and thesiship programs, except for the lab unit programs where they are mandatory, although some experience in the area and/or having used enterprise automation applications always help.

COMMITMENTS

By enrolling in our internship - thesiship programs you will commit to:

A regular work of minimum 20 hours per week is strictly required, every week during all the duration of the internship - thesiship period.

For interns - thesis doers following a presential internship, the minimum of 10 hours per week must be done presently in our office in Barcelona..

Interns - thesis doers not fulfilling the above condition will be expelled from the internship and they will not receive the Erasmus during and after mobility certificates.

We will sign Erasmus during and after mobility certificates only when the minimum dedication will be achieved by the intern (450 hours) - thesis doer (900 hours), not before. 

Be sure to have understood the above conditions before enrolling with us. Take in account that not receiving the Erasmus after mobility certificate will create you serious troubles with the Erasmus administration (you will have to give back the money received).

Compensation: 

No financial compensation is allowed by proceedit to our internships or thesis doers but you can obtain funds to cover your transport, transport and living expenses when coming to Barcelona by participating as a promoter in our crowdfunding projects.

We recommend you must manage to obtain funds from Erasmus, Campus Mundi  or a similar internship program.

Perform a set of introductory tasks that will take you an effort of around 30 hours. 

Once you have done with success the three selection steps you will have to sign our Internship - Thesiship acceptance letter and once received duly signed we will prepare and sign the necessary documentation for your university and the Erasmus program (acceptance letter, learning agreement …).

The above process takes not less than two - three weeks. That's why it is so important that you initiate the process asap according to your internship call deadline.
